Our Wedding

Our journey together has been anything but ordinary - and we wouldn't have it any other way. We got engaged on July 1, 2024, during a breathtaking sunrise in the Bahamas. It was peaceful, romantic and perfect! Travel has always been one of our greatest shared passions. We're always up for an adventure - especially together. From impromptu karaoke nights to game nights that bring out our competitive streaks, life with each other is full of fun, laughter, and a little bit of friendly rivalry. But what makes this truly special is that this is a second chance at love for both of us. We've each taken a winding path to get here, and now we're blending our lives and our families into something beautiful. We're so grateful to have found each other!

My big sis, Jules has been chosen as matron of honor.  She always has wonderful advice and has been a motherly figure to me since I was in diapers.

Jessica has been in my life for over 20 years!  We met by accident, and we have been inseparable ever since.  We have countless memories (most of them are hilarious).  Jess is sweet, simple and so easy to get along with.

Jess is definitely the calm to chaos!  She's got the humor, the heart, and the heels to match!

My beautiful daughter, Julianna will be part of our big day.  She is my mini me in so many ways.  She has grown into a beautiful young lady, and I would not think about taking this next step in life without her by my side.  

Don't let her fool you, she really does LOVE her momma, and it has been a long road for us, but things fell into place beautifully.

Stephanie is playing the role of bridesmaid.  We have been friends for about 10 years, and I consider Steph to be one of my closest friends.  We met when our girls were in daycare.  

She is someone who I can call when in crisis and need a slap in the face to put me back into reality.  We have been there for each other through really tough times and great times too.  I hope to continue this amazing friendship and share many more wonderful memories together.

Val is playing role of bridesmaid!  Val is one of the sincerest gals I know.  We met at SETS! Yes, we met at our gym... Val is one of the most super competitive girls I have EVER met!  This is why we get along so well!  We workout together, compete together, run together and outside of the gym our families spend time together.  She is originally a Cali girl turned into a Joysey gal! 

Isn't it funny how life works out?  When you least expect it, great people somehow make their way into your life.

Daniel and David's friendship started thanks to their better halves, Jess and Jas, who happen to be inseparable besties.  That meant the guys were basically forced into friendship.  Since then, Daniel and David have been through it all together:  endless date nights, questionable jokes, and more holidays and birthdays than they can count.  At this point, their families are basically one extended crew.  Daniel's the guy you want by your side for a laugh or some random adventure - and there's no way this wedding would feel complete without him standing up there.

If you plan on having more than two guests in one room, please contact Yazmin (email also provided on this page). She can assist in making changes to your accommodations. We have a room block for July 30 - August 2, 2026, if you wish to stay longer, please contact Yazmin to make these changes to your stay. Dave and I will be arriving on July 29th and departing on August 5th. Please ask about the hotel's all-inclusive options. This is definitely worth it, if you plan on eating on premises and enjoying poolside cocktails. All-inclusive packages can be purchased when checking into the hotel. It's our Last Sail Before the Veil! Come sail the Costa Rican waters with us for snorkeling, swimming, dancing, and nonstop pre-wedding fun. Hosted by the bride and groom with lunch and drinks included--just bring your bathing suit and good vibes! We can only accommodate up to 40 guests, please make sure to rsvp for this event. Once we hit the max number of guests, we will not be able to accept any more RSVPs. Pick up will be in the W Lobby at 7am The boat will set sail 8am and return 12pm

To help make your arrival as easy as possible, complimentary airport transportation from (LIR) Airport to the W and Westin hotels has been arranged for all guests. Please note that transportation is provided for your arrival only. Return transportation to the airport after the wedding will be each guest's responsibility. Our transportation partner has already received your contact information and flight details to ensure a smooth pickup upon your arrival. If your flight schedule changes before your trip, please let us know as soon as possible so we can update the transfer company. Upon exiting the airport, a representative from the transportation company will be waiting for you in the arrivals area holding a sign with your last name. They will assist you with your transfer to the hotel. The airport transfer will be covered by the bride and groom. While never expected gratuities for your driver are always appreciated if you feel they provided excellent service.
